October is BBP’s annual membership drive - a time when we promote the awesome perks of membership at the Boise Bicycle Project!
BBP membership is your all-access pass to knowledge, support, and savings. Unlimited mechanic-assisted stand time, year-round discounts, pre-scheduled appointments, and more come with a membership, starting at only $9 per month.
When you join in October, you’ll get an exclusive membership t-shirt designed by a local artist and an entry into our raffle package giveaway. You’ll also receive 30% off all recycled parts throughout the month and first dibs on adult project bikes in our warehouse. Upgrade to a sustaining membership, gift a membership to a friend or someone in need, or refer a new member, and you’ll qualify too (referrals receive a raffle entry only).
Together, We Can Make Dreams Come True
Each December, the Holiday Kids Bike Giveaway brings more than 600 dream bikes to life for kids in our community who might not otherwise have one.
Local partners help us connect with families in need, and each child draws their dream bike. Meanwhile, our community donates kids bikes that our team and volunteers repair, tune, and decorate to match those drawings - turning kids dreams into a reality.
You can help make the magic happen! Right now, we need folks to volunteer before or during the event, or donate a kids bike to help a child get their dream bike.

Membership
Membership at the Boise Bicycle Project allows the community to use BBP’s shop space, knowledge, and resources. Members have unlimited access to stand time with a mechanic, in-shop discounts, and much more.

Bike Shop
Our shop is more than just a place for repairs- it’s a welcoming hub that empowers YOU to become your own mechanic. Come in to fix your bike or to browse affordable, recycled, high-quality bicycles and parts. We offer shop classes, and yes- we gladly take bike donations!

Every individual should have access to quality, affordable bikes. Our programs aim to connect everyone with bicycles and the tools and knowledge to keep them running.

Advocacy
Bicycle advocacy promotes a sustainable, fair, and accessible transportation system, where residents of all ages, backgrounds, and incomes can embrace cycling freedom. Boise Bicycle Project’s Advocacy Committee is working to pave the way for safer, vibrant streets in Boise.
